Ekaterina Zagladina says Goodbye to Mikhail Gorbachev

On 3rd September in Moscow, Ekaterina Zagladina, President of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, attended the farewell ceremony dedicated to the Soviet Union’s last president and founder of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates. In this occasion, she shared few words to express how much he will be missed.

“President Gorbachev has had a big impact on my life, the life of my family and my colleagues.

There is a great sense of gratitude and enlightenment if I look backwards and see how much of wisdom and inner peace I have acquired thanks to him.

The passing of Mikhail Gorbachev, one of the most important leaders of modern history, should be recognized at the highest levels of global attention and dignity. Today, at your funerals, I felt honoured to give you my very last good bye. Rest In Peace MS”
Ekaterina Zagladina
