ACADEMIC COUNCIL OF THE PERMANENT SECRETARIAT OF THE WORLD SUMMIT
OF NOBEL PEACE LAUREATES (THE PERMSEC)
The Council consists of 3 Committees coordinated by the PERMSEC Staff each responsible for its particular field.
Committee 1: GR and NGOs cooperation. It engages promotion of the WSNPLs’ youth program through interaction with NGOs and Foundations from the globe
Committee 2: The WSNPLs’ Youth Program Committee assumes the responsibility for developing the Youth Program and elaboration of the agenda for all youth events organized by the PERMSEC
Committee 3: Research and Analytic Committee performs an analytical and statistics function in the Academic Сouncil: research work in the field of Peace, elaboration of new methodological instructions, etc.
TASKS AND GOAL
Tasks
Organization of educational events as a part of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates (WSNPLs) as other events linked to youth;
Interaction with academia, other NGOs and promotion of the Official Summit;
Youth Program “Leading by Example”;
Research work.
Goals
Formation of a unique educational ecosystem on peacekeeping topics;
Implementation of educational programs proposed by the members of the Council and PermSec;
Development of topics and issues that are relevant to the global agenda;
Providing a forum or any event organized by the PERMSEC with speakers;
Building strong relationship with the organizations working in the same or related fields.
