The Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates convened in Warsaw, Poland, October 21-23, 2013, calls for a new realism to advance human solidarity based on principles of nonviolence and peace. The example of those who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize – individuals and organizations – demonstrates that when people summon the courage to stand up for peace change can happen.
