The World Summit’s ‘Leading by Example’ program continues to attract bright students from all throughout the world. As one of many inspiring results of the World Summit, we are honored to present a new social initiative created by Leonardo Parraga, a youth delegate of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Colombia.
At the encouragement of Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Leonardo was inspired to write “love letters” to members of the FARC who were transitioning into civil society in a new campaign known as “Cartas Por La Reconciliation.” Since the Nobel Peace Summit, Leonardo and his peers have collected 2,238 love letters and delivered 765.
