DEVELOPING SKILLS IN HUMAN RIGHTS AND PEACEBUILDING

The Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates (PERMSEC), the COMPAZ Foundation and the University of Cartagena (Colombia) have joined forces to jointly and cooperatively develop the program called “Peace Curriculum”. This academic course will be offered free of charge to University of Cartagena students from the Observatory of Displacement, Conflict and Peacebuilding, with support from the research groups; Territory and Conflict; Science, Technology and Society; and the Group Studies of Family.

The purpose of this partnership is to implement training processes from a multidisciplinary approach that seek to develop skills in students around Human Rights and Peacebuilding.

President of the PERMSEC, Ms Ekaterina Zagladina, Dr Paula Gaviria, representative of the COMPAZ Foundation, and Rector of the University of Cartagena, Dr Edgar Parra Chacon, participated in a virtual event hosted by the University of Cartagena to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and to launch the course.
