Besides being an activist and a mother of six children, Leymah enjoys writing about topics regarding human rights. After many years of traveling, spreading peace messages and working on peacebuilding around the world, in 2020, because of the COVID- 19 pandemic, Leyma had enough time to stay at home and look into herself. As a result, she brought out an amazing book called Ma’s Bed which talks about politics and other different topics.

This book is made to read and share with children between three and eight years old so they can get involved in important global topics at a very young age, and they will be able to understand the reason for the things that are happening on our planet and with our people. Furthermore, this book will give them the tools and the inspiration to change what has to be changed.
